Teach Me Something Tuesday: Rubz For Forearm? For Sure
I have been geekin out the last few weeks on this product called Rubz. I said I would start a mini-series on how this little portable ball could be used. So this week’s post is titled: Teach Me Something Tuesday: Rubz For Forearm? For Sure. To seal the deal for me…IT COMES IN ORANGE!!! Those of you who know me and back the brand know where orange ranks on my all time list…but I digress.
I am not a big weight lifter. But the past 8 months I have started lifting again for the first time in 10 years. I do not lift because I enjoy it, but because I know that it is part of trying to do the right thing and get healthy. I generally lift three days per week. On those three days I lift back and bis, chest and tris, and legs and shoulders. I then hop on the bike for 30 minutes after each workout. I am not totally sold that I am doing things correctly, but at least I am doing things.
One thing I have found is that on biceps or triceps days, my arms generally tighten up at some point during the day. They feel super sore and junk tight. I have started rolling my forearms with this Rubz ball (top side and bottom side) and it really loosens them up. It may only last a few hours, but for those hours, it generally gets me to an off day to recover.
