I’ll Walk The Line

I’ll Walk The Line

“Hello Folks, I’m Johnny Cash”. There are not many musicians that are as iconic as Johnny Cash. The nickname (The Man in Black), the voice, the do your own thing attitude. This song has been running through my head a lot lately. Not for the reason the song normally portrays, but for the exact lyrics, “I’ll walk the line”. Here is chilling cover of the song by @halsey.

Why I Relate So Much

The reason I have this lyrics stuck in my head is because I feel I walk the line between healthcare practitioner and healthcare consumer. The reason for this blog is to humanize healthcare, and try to bring all of my readers (both clinicians and patients) up to an acceptable level of healthcare knowledge. I say appropriate,  but that means appropriate for them. Generally, I  try to keep things simple, but I too am still learning. I have been a PT for eleven plus years and I try to learn something new ever day.

ONE THING I LEARNED TODAY

For me, it has been a personal health journey learning about diet, exercise, and medications and how to avoid them. I work in healthcare, but I am generally too busying caring for and helping my patients to worry about myself. Well not anymore. Now I have taken the collective outlook where we all learn together along our own journeys.

I am always here if you have any health questions that go unanswered in my blogs. If I don’t know the answer, I am sure I know somebody who does, and that is what makes me feel most empowered in my own variation of expertise. I have literally become an expert on expertise. I know who to go to and when to go to them if I have questions because I can spot the experts in specific fields. So please feel free to leave me a comment in the comments section, or reach out to me on any of my social media outlets or DM me, I’d be glad to chat!
